(ANSA) – SOVERIA SIMERI, 08 JUL – A “10” worth 2.5 million euros in the 10eLotto competition. This is what a lucky bettor hit in Soveria Simeri, a town of about 1,500 inhabitants in the province of Catanzaro, with a stake of only 4 euros. But that’s not all: probably the same winner, with an identical € 4 bet and modifying a single number, also hit a ‘9’ worth € 50,000.
A day that still has something memorable for the small Calabrian community.
Since the news spread, the hunt for the author of the winning bets has begun. Currently, Soveria Simeri’s winnings are the highest awarded in 2022 by the 10eLotto competition. Winnings totaling € 2.47 billion have been awarded since the beginning of the year.
