(ANSA) – NAPLES, JULY 27 – Together with an accomplice he snatched a Rolex worth almost 9,000 euros from the wrist of an American tourist in the center of Naples: today the investigations by the State Police have led to the arrest of the alleged perpetrator. This is a thirty-year-old whom the Naples prosecutor deems “strongly suspected” of the crime of robbery, in competition with another person not yet identified.
The facts date back to last July 8 when an American tourist, while she was walking in the company of her husband in via Solitaria, in the Santa Lucia district, was approached by two men who, violently, tore a Rolex watch worth 8,750 euros from her wrist. and then fled on foot.
In the robbery, the woman reported some bruises on her arm.
The investigations, immediately launched, focused on the analysis of the video surveillance systems in the area. a turning point, then, took place with the identification of the presumed responsible by the victim, who recognized him both in the photo and in person. (HANDLE).
