(ANSA) – LAMPEDUSA, JUL 28 – 192 migrants arrived, on three different boats, during the night in Lampedusa. To rescue the boats, two of which were adrift, patrol boats of the Coast Guard and of the Yellow Flames.
On the first 13-meter Libyan launch, which started from Zuwara, there were 88 Bengalis, Egyptians, Syrians, Pakistanis and Moroccans.
Among them also 4 women and 3 minors. The 5-meter small boat with 21 Tunisians was also adrift, which was docked 24 miles from the coast. On the third boat, blocked just under a mile, there were 83 migrants, including 5 minors, from Egypt, Guinea, Benin and Togo.
All were taken to the hotspot in the Imbriacola district from where, last night, another 600 guests were transferred, embarked on the patrol boat Diciotti of the Coast Guard (ANSA).
