(ANSA) – NOVEMBER, 04 AUG – A 16-year-old boy died this morning after being run over by a tractor he was driving in the S. Antonio district in the territory of Cittanova, in the province of Reggio Calabria. According to the first reconstructions, the boy was driving a tractor in a land owned by the family when, due to causes under investigation, the vehicle, in a slope adjacent to a stream, overturned. His conditions immediately appeared serious and despite the intervention of the helicopter rescue, for the young man who died shortly after, there was nothing to do.
The sixteen-year-old and his family, residing in Melicucco, were busy working on their land.
The carabinieri are working on the reconstruction of the dynamics of the accident. 118 staff on site.
The firefighters of the Polistena detachment also intervened and worked to make the site and the vehicle safe. (HANDLE).
