(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 24 – The bishop of Rieti, next to lead the diocese of Verona, Msgr. Domenico Pompili, in the Mass in Amatrice for the six years since the earthquake in Central Italy, asks to accelerate the reconstruction: “What do you see coming here in Amatrice after six years? At first glance, everything seems to stop at the snapshot of the tower it stands isolated in the middle of the desert. But if you look more carefully, you discover that underneath there is a construction site, finally in motion “.
“There are cranes scattered here and there. To see, therefore, you have to come. After the grueling initial phase – underlined the prelate – now is the time for reconstruction, but to get to that of real regeneration, you need to come” .
“Everyone must come – warned Mgr. Pompili -: public and private, state and civil society, economic operators and professional associations. Without everyone’s involvement, in fact, the wait could be longer”. (HANDLE).
