On the eve of the election of the mayor, we analyze polls of voters over the past month.
Election of the mayor of Kharkiv is scheduled for October 31 / Collage “Today”
October 2021 will definitely be decisive for the political fate of one of the candidates for the upcoming mayoral elections in Kharkiv, which will take place on the 31st. Sociologists began to study the mood of Kharkiv residents long before the election race. But the picture became clearer a few weeks before the elections, when people had already more or less decided on their candidate. It is noteworthy that several companies showed very similar survey results.
Two leaders of electoral sympathies
In early October, the results of the sociological survey were presented to SOCIS. The poll itself took place at the end of September. Looking at the diagram, two clear leaders emerge: Igor Terekhov from the party “Kernes block – Successful Kharkov!” and self-nominated candidate Mikhail Dobkin. They have 52.3% and 29.1%, respectively, among those who have made up their minds and will vote. In third place of sympathy is the leader of the Svetlichnaya bloc “Together” Julia Svetlichnaya.
The rest of the candidates are significantly inferior to the first two, without crossing the border of the 2% barrier.

Most candidates are overboard
The pre-election situation was also studied in the sociological group “Rating”… The study was carried out from 2 to 7 October. It showed that the largest number of townspeople are ready to vote in the elections for the mayor of Kharkiv for Igor Terekhov. This is 57.6% of those who have decided and intend to come to the sites. 27.6% of respondents support Mikhail Dobkin. The rating of other candidates is less than 4%. Those who were undecided – about 14%.
As you can see, the gap between the pair of leaders has grown by almost 7%. And Terekhov’s rating has become almost twice that of Dobkin.

There may not be a second round
The opinion poll by Human Research, which was conducted from 12 to 22 October 2021, just like the two previous ones, showed that the fate of the mayor of the first capital of Ukraine can be determined in the first round. Since the candidate Terekhov crosses the 50% barrier. Opposite his name, 55.8% of Kharkiv residents are ready to put a tick. For the victory of the closest competitor, candidate Dobkin, 25.9% of voters are ready to vote.

Practically in the same period, an analysis of the opinions of residents of Kharkov was carried out by a public organization “Development of society”… In the period from October 19 to 22, voters were most supportive of Igor Terekhov (44% of respondents), Mikhail Dobkin (29%) and Skorik (5%). None of the other candidates garnered more than 1% support.
