(ANSA) – CORIGLIANO ROSSANO, 03 NOV – They had applied to INPS to obtain citizenship income, but had not met the requirement of residency in Italy for at least 10 years. Seventeen non-EU citizens were denounced by the carabinieri of the Corigliano Rossano territorial department. The military, following in-depth investigations, discovered that non-EU citizens residing in Corigliano Rossano had received the subsidy from 2020 until the beginning of 2021 without meeting the main requirement. And, moreover, they were not available in the domiciles declared at the time of submitting the application to the body responsible for disbursement of the benefit.
The scam against INPS amounts to just over 83 thousand euros.
The body was informed by the carabinieri in order to interrupt the disbursement of the subsidy. (HANDLE).
