(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 28 NOV – Today in Fvg out of 5,025 molecular swabs 478 new infections were detected with a positive percentage of 9.51%. There are also 14,214 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 56 cases (0.39%) were detected. Today there are 7 deaths: 4 women from Trieste, respectively 98 years old (died at the Trieste hospital), 87 years old (died in a protected residence for the elderly), 87 years old (at the Gorizia hospital) and 76 years old (all Trieste hospital); an 82-year-old man from Trieste who died in the Trieste hospital; a 79-year-old from Gemona who died at the Palmanova hospital and an 86-year-old woman from Brugnera, at the Pordenone hospital. There are 27 people hospitalized in intensive care, while patients in other departments are 276. This was announced by the deputy governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia with responsibility for health, Riccardo Riccardi.
The overall deaths amounted to 3,968, with the following territorial subdivision: 909 in Trieste, 2,042 in Udine, 701 in Pordenone and 316 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 119,197, the clinically healed 174, while the people in isolation are 6,758.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Fvg, a total of 130,400 people have been positive (the total number of cases has been reduced by three units following 2 cases related to Gorizia and one from Udine in which antigen tests have not been confirmed by molecular swabs) with the following territorial subdivision: 30,521 in Trieste, 56,651 in Udine, 25,287 in Pordenone, 16,145 in Gorizia and 1,796 from outside the region.
As far as the regional health system is concerned, the positive results of: four nurses from the Giuliano Isontina university health agency were found; a nurse and a technical operator from the Friuli Centrale University Healthcare Authority; a nurse from IRCCS Burlo Garofolo; a laboratory technician from Irccs Cro of Aviano.
Finally, 3 cases were detected among the guests of the residences for the elderly in the region (Grado and Pordenone) and the positivity of 4 operators working in the structures (Udine, Trieste, Villa Santina) was found. (HANDLE).
