The operation to arrest the main witness of the Buk shot at the Boeing 777 civilian aircraft on July 17, 2014 – the former head of the air defense of the Slavic Brigade of the self-proclaimed “DPR” Vladimir Tsemakh – cost the life of the elder of the group to capture it.

This was stated by Colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine Roman Chervinsky on the air of the talk show “Freedom of speech by Savik Shuster” on the TV channel “Ukraine 24”.

What happened

A legend was invented. We have prepared a legend according to which we transported a sick person who is under anesthesia. We walked around their three checkpoints and this legend worked. Tsemakh was in the back seat of the car, next to him was a wheelchair. He was a little unconscious. Behaved adequately, followed all commands“, – said Chervinsky.

The senior of the group, an intelligence officer, was killed – he was hit by a mine, but Tsemakh was delivered. We drove up to the demarcation line by car. We transplanted Tsemakh into a wheelchair. There was a small path along which the locals walked – along this path we drove across the contact line. From that side we were met by officers, they took him and brought him to Kiev“- added Chervinsky.

Further, both Ukrainian and Dutch investigators worked with a valuable witness to the death of a passenger plane. Tsemakh testified that after they shot down the liner, he brought the Russian military to the territory of the Russian Federation, who fired a shot from the Buk.

Despite this heroic operation, the same Chervinsky was dismissed from the service. Why, Roman Chervinsky does not know the answer to this question.

An important witness
