(ANSA) – CAGLIARI, 02 FEB – The bishop of Cagliari Monsignor Giuseppe Baturi, “deeply and fraternally saddened by the tragic death of little Daniele”, expresses, on behalf of the entire diocesan community, his condolences to the family of the little boy of 15 months overwhelmed and killed by a 37-year-old aboard a scooter in Cagliari.
“It is – says the Archbishop – an accident that strikes to the heart the things we love most, the children and the promise of life. For this reason we entrust little Daniel to the mercy of God, so that he can enjoy the meek face forever. Festive celebration of the Risen One. A thought to his loved ones and in particular to his parents. I entrust the young mother to Our Lady, so that in the hope of the resurrection, she may find reason for life and strength – he adds – Let us pray together also for all the other people involved, so that may they find in the faith and comfort of all men, itineraries of hope “.
