But the Head of State could also mention the major projects of the five-year term left fallow by the health crisis, in particular the pension reform.

The Head of State must also announce decisions on the compulsory vaccination of caregivers, the extension of the health pass or even the strengthening of border controls.

The exchanges promise to be difficult, especially after the heavy defeat in the regional elections, which caused serious internal tensions. Finally, the Elysee had announced a cabinet reshuffle two weeks ago. If he still wishes to do so, Emmanuel Macron should therefore make known the new composition of his team before Wednesday, in order to have a new full government for July 14.
