It is a crew which skipper Arnaud Psarofaghis knows very well. The Spanish Marcelono Botin stands out in the design team as principal designer and Uruguayan Adolfo Carrau in the role of design coordinator. On the other hand, the Frenchman Gautier Sergent will be drawing the sails.

As for the sailors, 14 were selected, all Swiss, divided between management roles and ‘power group’.

The oldest is Yves Detrey, who is 43, the youngest Nicolas Rolaz, 22, and he was already world champion in the 2014 Optimist Class. The overall average age of the crew is 30 years and is likely one of the youngest crews of the next America’s Cup.

Maxime Bachelin, Matias Buehler, Arthur Cevey, Nicolas Charbonnier, Lucien Cujean, Barnabé Delarze, Yves Detrey, Augustin Maillefer, Bryan Mettraux, will alternate on board, Arnaud Psarofaghis, Nicolas Rolaz, Théry Schir, Nils Theuninck, Florian Trueb.
