Nations League: France draws in Vienna, is last in group 1

The Nations League remains bitter for world champions France, who drew 1-1 with Austria in Vienna and remain last in Group A after three games. Trailing in the 37th minute due to a goal by Andreas Weimann, the team led by Didier Deschamps managed to break the tie only in the final thanks to Kylian Mbappé, who entered the second half. The PSG striker scored in the 38th minute and in the 42nd minute he touched the goal that would have completed the comeback for him, hitting the crossbar.
Next Monday, Bleus will face Croatia at the Stade de France, who defeated Denmark 1-0 at Copenhagen’s Parken Stadium with a goal from Pasalic in the 24th minute of the second half. The Danish national team, still led by Christian Eriksen, still remains at the top of group A with 6 points, ahead of Austria and Croatia (4) and France (2).
