Maggiore from Spezia to Turin, the meeting on Thursday

(ANSA) – LA SPEZIA, June 28 – La Spezia and Torino meet on Thursday to talk about Giulio Maggiore, captain of the Ligurians who are interested in grenades. Contacts between the respective transfer men, Riccardo Pecini and Davide Vagnati, have gone on in the past two weeks and the sale of the midfielder seems likely today. The clubs would be agreeing on a figure of around 5 million euros for the 24-year-old, who has his contract expiring in 2023.

Spezia will announce on 1 July the new coach Luca Gotti and then will launch on the market in search of a central defender, two midfielders (playmaker and right midfielder) and a first striker who is Nzola’s alter ego. Yesterday exploratory contacts with Udinese which opened the sale of Nuytinck, Arslan and Walace, which Gotti has already trained in Friuli, but at the moment there is no real negotiation.

The midfielder Leo Sena, stopped for the whole of last season due to the aftermath of Covid, towards the sale on loan to Brazil.
