(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 01 – From Francesco Totti to Luca Toni, from Nicolas Frey to Paolo Di Canio, many former Serie A players are on the field against each other on the first day of the “Illumia Padel Cup” tournament which takes place until tomorrow in Castenaso (Bologna). The initiative was conceived by former midfielder Thomas Locatelli to give continuity to the challenges between football champions who have millions of fans, challenges that have now moved to padel fields.
Two days of dunks, responses, dampening balls and lots of fun, but also for a higher purpose: concrete help to La Mongolfiera Onlus in favor of families with children with disabilities. The tournament will culminate with a gala dinner whose proceeds will go to support the projects of the Bolognese Onlus. (HANDLE).
