(ANSA) – CHANGWON, JUL 17 – In Changwon, where the fourth round of the World Cup in shooting is underway, Italy continues to collect medals. After the success of the pistol team – a team gold medal in the men’s compressed air, a bronze in the Mixed Team, a silver and a bronze in the individual performance thanks to Tesconi and Monna – today it was the turn of the rifle team that won silver with the South Tyrolean policewoman Barbara Gambaro in the women’s 3-position individual rifle competition, after a high-level qualification, sustained yesterday, and an excellent Ranking Match (403.4).
In the Gold Medal Match Gambaro faced the German Anna Janssen who showed, in the last three shooting heats, greater precision than the blue, winning 16-10.
