US businessman Jim Irsay announced on twitter that he has bought the Wbc world heavyweight title belt which Muhammad Ali conquered in 1974 by beating George Foreman in Kinshasa in the legendary fight called ‘Rumble in the Jungle‘.
The price paid is $ 6.18 million (as many in euros).

The owner of the Indianapolis Colts football team also hinted that the item will be showcased at an exhibition of his collection in August in Chicago and September in Indianapolis.
Aficionado of rare memorabilia – from guitars by Elvis Presley, John Lennon or Prince to the original manuscript of Bill Wilson’s guide to Alcoholics Anonymous in 1939 -, Irsay has now taken possession of one of the most expensive collectibles in sports.
