(ANSA) – PARIS, JULY 26 – “There will be no tax on the Olympic Games”: this is the assurance of the French president, Emmanuel Macron, interviewed by L’Equipe exactly two years after the start of the Paris-2024 Olympics. In an interview with the great French sports newspaper, the head of state announces the general mobilization to make the Games a great success and insists on financing and security issues. The budget issue of the Paris Olympics, which will be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024, has raised fears in recent months, in particular, due to inflation arising mainly from the Russian conflict in Ukraine.
