(ANSA) – TURIN, 02 AUG – “Young people are the beating heart of European football and beyond. They are a look at the future and a positive example to safeguard the values of sport, which plays a fundamental role in stemming bullying, cyberbullying and youth discomfort. The contrast of these phenomena represents a global challenge that needs an immediate response “. Thus Gianluca Vialli and Massimo Mauro, who through the Vialli and Mauro Foundation organize the first edition of “Alba dei Campioni”, a mini-tournament among the young promises of Paris Saint-Germain, Ac Milan, Fc Internazionale Milano and Ssc Napoli.
The event, from 1 to 3 September, in Alba (Cuneo), is organized in collaboration with Alba dei Campioni, with the support of Asd Alba Calcio and Asd Albese Calcio and with the patronage of the Municipality of Alba and the Piedmont Region. The aim is to raise funds for research on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and to promote the values of sport. To date, the Vialli e Mauro Foundation has donated over 4,000,000 euros to research.
The under 18 formations of the four teams will take the field in a friendly mini-tournament.
