The legend of world rhythmic gymnastics Albina Deryugina died in Kyiv. The famous coach died at the age of 92.

This was reported by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine on its page on the social network Facebook. Deriugina had the title of Hero of Ukraine and Honored Coach of Ukraine, was a member of the Executive Committee of the NOC of Ukraine.

Under her leadership, Olga Shchegoleva, Olga Plokhova, Victoria Serykh, Lyudmila Yevtushenko, Irina Deriugina, Alexandra Timoshenko, Oksana Skaldina, Elina Khozlu, Tamara Erofeeva, Anna Bessonova, Natalia Godunko became Olympic champions and winners of the world and European championships.

Only on March 16, Albina Nikolaevna turned 91 years old.
