According to the 1st racket of the country, this happened at the Federation Cup in Belarus, where the unrecognized president went, and after the match he wanted to take a picture with the athletes.
In addition, Sobolenko, who signed a pro-government letter in favor of Lukashenka in 2020, suddenly announced that she did not support the dictator.
“I have said many times that I do not support war. I do not want my country to participate in conflicts. You know my position, you know my answer. I do not want to be involved in politics. I just want to be a tennis player. I do not support war, because I don’t support Alexander Lukashenko right now,” said the 25-year-old Minsker.
Fans reacted with distrust to such statements of the 2nd racket of the world.
