“Normals are being driven to the front”: the ex-player of the Russian national team imagined “Nazis” in Ukraine

Former Russian national team player Sergei Yuran cynically wished the world Ukraine, against which the Russian Federation is waging a criminal war, killing civilians. A native of Lugansk, who played for Dynamo Kiev for four years, saw “Nazis” in our country.

Yuran stated this in an interview with the Sport24 portal. The former forward of Lisbon Benfica, Moscow Spartak and Austrian Sturm added that it was “hard for him to see normal guys being driven to the front,” while forgetting to mention the Ukrainians’ defense of their land.

“I have only one dream – for the Slavs to live in peace again, as before. Ukrainians, not counting these Nazis, are very hospitable people. It’s hard for me to see how normal guys from there are driven to the front. I want this to end quickly,” Yuran said .

Earlier, he told how he was beaten by the legendary football players of Dynamo Kyiv. “At that moment, Andrei Bal, the kingdom of heaven, Demyanenko and Bessonov helped me a lot. Once in the shower they gave me slaps on the head. They explained what was what,” the Russian recalled.

As OBOZ.UA reported, Russian football fans expressed dissatisfaction with the victory of the Ukrainian national team over Iceland in the finals of the Euro 2024 qualifying rounds.
