(ANSA) – PALERMO, JANUARY 09 – Record of positives at Covid in Palermo football that plays in Serie C. Three other players and a member of the technical staff were infected this morning after the results of the molecular swab carried out yesterday following the suspected positivity highlighted by rapid tests.
Thus the positives in Palermo rise to twenty-four overall: twenty players and four staff members. Successful players are currently quarantined each in their own home where they continue to train individually when physical conditions allow.
All the Palermo players were subjected to three doses of anticovid vaccination. Over the next few days, new cycles of molecular swabs will be performed to monitor the evolution of viral load in currently positive players and staff members. The negative players in the last cycle of tampons are available to the coach Silvio Baldini and the technical collaborator Mario Alberto Santana for training, in compliance with all the health procedures provided for by the protocols: individual training and mask worn in the common areas.
