NASA and the Pentagon recognized the anomaly of spherical UFOs flying “around the world”

Dozens of reports of “unidentified anomalous phenomena” (also known as UFOs) cannot be explained by the usual problems associated with miscalibrated sensors, distant aircraft or weather balloons. The nature of their origin remains unclear and anomalous.

This was officially announced by representatives of US departments during a meeting with journalists. 16 experts from NASA, the Pentagon and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) discussed the situation with UFO sightings and announced the publication of the official annual report in August 2023.

According to the Pentagon’s Domain-wide Office for the Investigation of Anomalies (AARO), most UFOs are observed near manned aircraft, as well as near the border with space or at sea.

AARO Director Sean Kirkpatrick said that of the approximately 800 existing sightings, most have a terrestrial explanation, but some of these observations are considered anomalous because there is not enough information or better video that captures such objects to analyze them.

Kirkpatrick said the 2 to 5 percent of these events “have signs that could be anomalous” and are not easy to understand. About half of these reports concern unusual balls or round spheres that look like metal, seen by aircraft at high altitudes.

“This is a typical example of what we see most often. We see them all over the world and we see them doing very interesting maneuvers,” said Kirkpatrick.

In turn, the assistant administrator of the NASA Science Mission Directorate, Nicky Fox, also complained that the data on a large number of these objects were not of sufficient quality to understand exactly what the observers were dealing with.

The problem is also that the most frequently identified flying objects are observed by military pilots, whose planes are equipped with weapons, and not with sensors for studying UFOs.

Kirkpatrick also talked about one of the biggest problems for pilots – meteorological balloons, which are released by stations for several hours to analyze data, and then self-destruct. Since the pilots may not be aware of the tests, such aircraft may be perceived as UFOs.

Earlier, GLOBAL HAPPENINGS talked about the report of Ukrainian astronomers, who stated that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, they began to record a significant number of unidentified flying objects flying much higher than existing drones. Planes have not been flying over Ukraine since February 2022.
