(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 12 – Prince William is expected to leave London this summer to settle with his wife and children in the county of Berkshire, 80 km west of the British capital. The Sunday Times reports it, specifying that the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II, who will soon celebrate her 40th birthday, currently resides with his wife Kate and their three children George, Charlotte and Louis in Kensington Palace. But this summer they should move to a property in Windsor.
The aim is “to give children more freedom”, according to the Sunday newspaper. Consequence of this transfer: the prince’s children, George and Charlotte, will also change schools.
Settling in the countryside, children will be able to “go to the park or play with friends”, continues the newspaper, citing a family friend.
However, Prince William and Kate will keep Kensington Palace to themselves. Their press service will remain established there.
