(ANSA) – MOSCOW, 08 AUG – Moscow today accused the Ukrainian forces of being responsible for the bombing of the largest Ukrainian and European nuclear power plant – that of Zaporizhzhia – and warned against “catastrophic consequences” for Europe.
The bombing of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant site “by the Ukrainian armed forces” is “potentially extremely dangerous” and “could have catastrophic consequences for a large area, including European territory,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. Kiev, for its part, accuses the Russian army of having hit the facilities of the plant. (HANDLE).
