LONDON – British writer Nicholas Evans, famous for his novel “The Horse Whisperer”, died last Tuesday at the age of 72 of a heart attack. The family announced it today.
Released in 1995, “The Horse Whisperer” sold over 15,000 copies worldwide and became bestsellers in 20 countries.
In 1998, a film of the same name was made with a child Scarlett Johansson as Grace MacLean, who the horse trainer played by Robert Redford helps to recover after an accident.
Among his other novels published by Evans, “Together with the wolves” (2000), “In the fire” (2002), “When the sky is divided” (2005) and “Only if you have courage” (2010).
