(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 24 – Boris Johnson, during his surprise visit to Kiev, announced a new aid package worth 66 million dollars, stating that Ukraine “can and will win” the war against Russia.
In the new package, reports Downing Street, there are among other things “ammunition” and “200 drones with cutting-edge technology that will allow Ukraine to better track and target Russian invasion forces”. And also “850 micro-drones specifically designed for use in towns and villages to detect approaching enemy forces”.
The British government called the new aid “a step ahead of Ukraine’s current long-range and defensive surveillance capabilities”. (HANDLE).
