“Italy can be said to be very satisfied” with the conclusions of the European Council. This was stated by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni at the end of the summit. On the subject of migration there was “a change of pace in the last Council but now migration remains a priority of the EU’s objectives”, he added, with a “verification of the implementation of the results in the next European Council. This shows that it wasn’t a spot and a single initiative”. “We are working on concrete results that seem good to me and demonstrate good faith in tackling this matter” for which Italy can be said to be “satisfied”, she concluded.
