Russia does not usually announce when the bodies of its soldiers are returned, nor do it disclose up -to -date information about the number of combat dead in Ukraine. But the Russian press and military bloggers say the bodies of 41 dead soldiers were returned to Russia, citing Shamsail Saraliev, a deputy who is part of the parliamentary committee that supervises the offensive.
Moscow and Kiev disbelieve their military losses. In a rare public estimate, Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky said in mid -February that more than 46,000 soldiers in the country died and almost 380,000 were injured.
