THE Iran said on Monday (19) that, if the United States Insisting on interrupting their uranium enrichment, there will be no agreement between the two countries about the Iranian nuclear program, after the US government said this is its red line. “Regarding zero enrichment, we said from the outset that if this is their position, it is natural that we do not reach anywhere,” said Foreign Minister Iranian and negotiator about the agreement, Majid Takht Ravanchi. The US Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, commented on Sunday in an interview with Iran’s “ABC” network, is a red line for Washington. “We have a very clear red line: enrichment. We cannot even allow 1% of enrichment capacity,” said US chief negotiator in nuclear negotiations with Iran. Witkoff stated that his country presented a proposal to Iran which, according to him, “addresses some of these issues without disrespecting them.”

However, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Araqchi Abbas, denied that he received such a proposal and also warned that his country will not give up the right to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes. The US President, Donald TrumpHe returned to make military threats against Iran if an agreement is not reached and resumed the so -called “maximum pressure policy” against the country after leaving the 2015 nuclear pact.
