The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) is in contact with the health authorities of countries that import Brazilian products. To mitigate the effects of the outbreak, the ministry authorized the use of refrigerated containers for chicken storage and their derivatives. This strategy aims to minimize negative impacts on exports. In addition, the map is investigating 11 suspected cases of avian flu, most of them in subsistence chickens. The situation requires extra attention, as poultry health is crucial for maintaining exports and food safety.
