Israel bombardes the south of Lebanon

An air strike hit a building in the south of the Lebanon This Thursday (22), after the Israeli army issued an evacuation alert, warning to an imminent action against Hezbollah militants, reported the Lebanese state media.

Israel Maintains air strikes in Lebanon, despite a truce reached in November, designed to contain more than a year of hostilities with Hezbollah.

Without confirming the attack recorded in the town of Toul (south), the Israeli army stated that his forces performed various bombing against Hezbollah targets and that they killed a combatant.

Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported that “the Israeli enemy” attacked a building in Toul, where the army had warned residents to leave the area around a construction that, they said, was used by Hezbollah militants.

The “urgent warning” was accompanied by a map showing a structure and a perimeter of 500 meters marked in red. “You are close to facilities belonging to the terrorist group Hezbollah,” the message said in Arabic, installing the population to “evacuate these buildings immediately and move away.”

In a separate statement, the Israeli army said it had “attacked and eliminated a Radwan Strength of Hezbollah in the Rab El Thalathine area”, 17 km to southeast. NNA mentioned a “martyr” in an air strike in the same area without identifying it.
