(ANSA) – NEW YORK, DECEMBER 18 – The mayor of San Francisco declares a state of emergency in one of the areas of the city most infested by crime and drugs. This is the district of Tenderlion, for years the epicenter for drug dealing, deaths from overdoses and the gathering of homeless people.
“We are in a crisis and we must respond appropriately.
Too many people are dying in these cities, “Mayor London Breed said, explaining that she came to this extreme decision after speaking to some families with children living in the area who feel constantly threatened. For the liberal mayor of one of the America’s most liberal city, the declaration of a state of emergency is an unusual move, however, dictated by a recent degenerate situation in San Francisco.
