The American president, Donald Trumputtered, on Monday (23), that oil prices remain low, while the market gave signs of instability waiting for the response of Tehran to the attacks of the United States to Iranian nuclear facilities. “Everyone keeps low oil prices. Trump said that allowing oil prices to shoot would be “to make the enemy’s game.”

The Republican President wrote another message directed to the Department of Energy: “Perfure, Baby, Perfure !!! Now !!!”. Iran promised revenge after the United States bombard their nuclear facilities. Among his options is the closure of the Strategic Strait of Ormuz. Interrupting traffic through this vital route to oil and gas, through which one fifth of worldwide production of gross oil, would cause energy prices to fire, resulting in a global inflationary shock.

Brent oil, international reference, and its American equivalent, West Texas Intermediate (WTI), rose more than 4%, reaching its highest price since January at the opening of the market on Monday.
