The Mazda CX-5 evolves in the sign of tradition and changes in every aspect remaining faithful to the basic concept. Aesthetically it has a more important step, about 2.82 meters – is 115 mm longer, larger than 15 mm and higher than 30 mm – but the proportions are those known, embellished with muscular passaruots, from a higher front with an element that combines optical groups and mask, and from a rear view in which the revised headlights stand out, among which the Mazda writing has been inserted. The largest space in the passenger compartment is emphasized by a dashboard that develops in full width, in which the central display stands out which, depending on the set -up, measures 12.9 or 15.6 inches, while the instrumentation becomes entirely digital and uses a 10.25 -inch screen.
Already from the access version to the range, the Prime-Line, CX-5 boasts a multimedia system with integrated Google and compatibility with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The load volume has also grown, precisely 61 liters, and now it is 583 liters, but it can exceed 2,000 liters by breaking down the rear sofa.
PowerTrain is the 2.5 petrol aspirated, combined with a 24 V light hybrid hybrid system, which delivers 141 HP and 238 Nm of maximum torque, coupled with a 6 -speed automatic transmission.
As for performance, the Japanese SUV starts from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds in the front -wheel drive version and in 10.9 seconds in the one with all -wheel drive, while the maximum speed is 187 km/h for the first and 185 km/h for the second. At the level of consumption, the house declares a value of 7 liters/100 km for the new generation of front-wheel drive and 7.5 liters/100 km for the 4WD variant.
On the driving aid front there are all the most recent Adas and, with the Proactive Driver Assist, the car helps the driver to maintain a fluid and controlled deceleration in daily situations, automatically providing a slight braking support in the approach to a curve or when approaching a slower vehicle, for a more relaxed and safe driving experience and with less adjustments on the brake pedal.
