With bated breath, Eurofans around the world are waiting for the grand finale of Eurovision 2022. Everyone is predicting a victory for Ukraine this year. Recently, producer Igor Kondratyuk explained why the victory of the Kalush Orchestra is so important for us now.
The success of the representatives of Ukraine beats all indicators of the competition. A few hours before the final, the probability of winning the Kalush Orchestra reached a record 60%.
Following Ukraine, according to the table, is Sweden with an indicator of 11%, the UK is in third place – 10%. Also in the top five were Italy and Spain, with a total of 5%.
The outsiders of the betting table were Latvia, Switzerland and Romania, and the last place this year went to Germany – their chances of winning Eurovision 2022 are less than 1%.
However, this year, despite the forecasts of bookmakers, some countries still dropped out of the competition. A scandal erupted around the participation of Albania, because the representatives of the country guaranteed a place in the grand final. But in the end, the voting showed completely different results, which caused a boycott of the contest by Eurofans.
