Gucci opens in Cortina with Franz Kraler

(ANSA) – MILAN, DEC 05 – He has chosen Cortina Fashion Week, Gucci, to inaugurate his boutique in the Queen of the Dolomites: it is in Corso Italia 88, in the heart of Cortina D’Ampezzo, in collaboration with the historic retailer Franz Kraler .

From the moment of its opening until mid-January, the boutique – which covers 138 square meters where the women’s and men’s collections of clothing, bags, accessories and footwear are located – will be entirely dedicated to The North Face x Gucci collection. Featuring vibrant colors and prints, innovative fabrics and a unified logo, combining The North Face’s curved graphics with the House’s green and red web ribbon, the second installment of The North Face x Gucci collection celebrates the spirit of adventure in all its forms. For the ready-to-wear bomber and jackets with a retro taste, made from original The North Face designs from the 90s, technical garments with the classic all-over GG motif, mountain boots and backpacks.

For the occasion, the store recreates the arctic world that inspires the collection itself. Cold lights are reflected on white and bright surfaces surrounded by silver draped curtains. The space is delimited by carpets reminiscent of expanses of snow, on which mirrored mannequins and display supports recline whose irregular shapes recall small icebergs. (HANDLE).
